Additional Information (if any):
Recently I found out that there is an official hiking trail in my neighbourhood. This trail is a little bit over 5 kilometers and is called ‘Loop- en wandelroute Maaspoort’. The trail has trail markers, as shown in the above image. Looking up the criteria for trails and markers, I would say these would fall under the following category:
Although the sign looks mass produced and the trail is beside a street, it has a trail name, logo, and directions at a decision point.
I submitted five of these markers, to start with. In the end, four out of five were approved, after some appeals.
The fifth wayspot was rejected, no appeals left. The reviewer feels these markers are not permanent. The Wayspots were active for about two or three days. Now out of the four approved, three all already removed.
Can someone please clarify why they were removed (after someone apparently requested it?)?
And can these be restored?
If needed, I can share the details on the other waypoints as well.
According to the criteria for trails and markers, I believe they should be eligible.
Would be great to have all the markers as waypoint and to set up the full trail as a route.
