Looks like it only shows that specific month, I imagine we can’t see how many have used the stops since their creation (some 4-5 years ago).
They are the statistics for September.
I think having been given a taste of some numbers there is a desire for more. ![]()

If you haven’t received the email
Check as per instructions here
If you did have the toggle set at on a few days ago and have not had email then do let the team know. The topic in bugs seems a good place or you can use wayfarer helpchat.
I would wish that Niantic/Wayfarer wouldn’t give us a “half cooked” feature but that’s what they give us time and again
I was very excited to learn that I’d made POI in a brand-new area of the Wayfarer Map and that there was a way to see where I’d made it
Imagine my disapointment when the link just send me to my Contribution Management page
I feel like Niantic/Wayfarer wants me to play “Go Fish” with my contributions
A map is coming, per this post:
Until then, we just have to wait to see which of our new Wayspots do get used in-game, or go to them ourselves to see if they are being used as stops/gym/Power Spots.
It’s still a great email, as I love seeing how many people have interacted with my approved Wayspots and how many times they’ve done something there!
So a spoof/copy of Ingress’ Intel Map
Nope. The Ingress / Intel Map was made for Ingress. The Wayfarer map will be made for Pokemon Go, and will support any other games that Scopely acquired from Niantic in the future. We don’t know what the map looks like, and for you to belittle the work that has taken place is little disrespectful.
If you know what it dosn’t look like you must know what it looks like or at least gotten some kind of preview
No user has gotten any preview of the new upcoming Wayfarer map. I would assume that staff knows what will be included, but we as users do not.
But, it’s best to look at the positives of all of this, instead of focus on the negatives. The email may evolve over time to include map links when the map does become available. Maybe it’ll include info on what photos are now the main ones in PoGo if we were the ones that took them. Maybe they’ll be a breakdown of what our Wayspots are being used for.
This is just the beginning of a really awesome thing, and it can only get better from here.
If you think the map is an Intel / Ingress ““Spoof”, maybe you can give an insight to what you know?
I think you didn’t read or didn’t understand my original post
There’s a like to the map but it just takes me to my Contribution Management page and that is not okay
Don’t include a feature that dosn’t work!
And again, the email is new. There may be improvements in the future.
I think many of us remember when edits and photo submissions weren’t in Contribution Management, and once they did get added, that was a huge improvement. So, just like this example, the email may be improved upon in the future.
NO.
Wayfarer Map is not a map for PGO.
Wayfarer Map is an stand-alone map to supply wayspot for each game.
What we are submitting is a WAYSPOT.
It is not a POKESTOP.
If you are a Wayfinder, you should not forget that principle.
And you took this quote out of context:
Keep in mind that the game play locations for the other Scopely games have rarely been updated, but that could change in the future. I don’t think this is something to get upset about also.
The Intel map is no longer syncing with Wayfarer as of May 23rd. Also, the S2 overlay one can get for it was 3rd party, not something that Ingress or Wayfarer offered. The Intel map is still a part of Ingress, which is owned by Spatial, not Scopely, who now owns Wayfarer.
This topic really isn’t about a future Wayfarer map, so you may want to consider posting about it in the Roadmap topic I provided earlier.
A post was merged into an existing topic: Not receiving Wayfarer statistics email
So there have been o er 186k different visitors to my stops/gyms in a month period? I live in a medium sized city and have only had about 750 accepted poi added to pogo. That seems a bit high, but I will take it!
You misunderstood my point, but that’s ok. I should have been clearer. Wayfarer is independant from any of the games that benefit from it. Pokemon Go is the main beneficiary from what we do on Wayfarer. Other games do benefit from what’s has been accepted by the Wayfarer as and when they sync. When someone says The Wayfarer map is a Ingress Intel Spoof, it’s a bit disingenuous.
Wow!! You must have had something accepted at a major city, transport hub etc?
