When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:
Wayspot Title: Lekeplass
Location (lat/lon):
City:
Country: Norway
Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information): N/A
Additional Information (if any): Wayspot that has been active for over 5.5 years, is removed from Pokemon Go but still available in Ingress, which I assume is because an owner has reported the waypoint/pokestop. But this is a public playground owned by the local government (Kommune)
The coordinates that you gave are in the middle of the street near the park. The way spot is currently correctly located on the playground itself. However, it lies within the same S2 level 17 cell as the disc golf way spot nearby. Only one can exist as a Pokémon go gym or stop.
Was the location of the way spot recently corrected? If so, that’s probably why it disappeared. If it wasn’t corrected recently, then it is likely that the game board was just reset and eliminated one of the two stops in the same cell, which is also correct.
The red marker below is the coordinates that you gave, and the two orange dots just above are the two way spots for the playground and the Disc golf Area.
Just following up on what @Leedle95 posted with a screen snip from desktop that shows the portal photo to help verify this is the same Wayspot. This also looks like an accurate placement to me. Even if it were returned to the position you gave, it would still not be alone in an L17 S2 cell. Either Geitastova Lekeplass #2 or BestDrive Forus should have become a pokemon go location when Geitastova Lekeplass was moved. (Or another Wayspot in the L17 S2 cell that doesn’t show as a portal on this map)
