Update: upon re-reading and reflection, I am guessing the wayspot is still there, the Pokéstop is what was removed – I am hoping this is still the right way/place to appeal

wayspot Pokéstop that disappeared was nominated by someone else

The Pokéstop (enjoyed by the local community) disappeared recently. I checked the rules and I think it meets all criteria to be a wayspot.
Then I found the rule about one Pokéstop per “small” grid cell and I think I found the issue, the Pokéstop location is a bit wrong and the cell already contains a gym.
Here is a picture of the swing with the grey bar on top indicated in blue:
And here is the satellite view showing the swing top bar (indicated using the same blue), the waypoint where the gym is and the waypoint where the Pokéstop used to be. The waypoint should a bit to the right (to the center of the blue oval?), if this happens it is the only one in its “small” grid cell.

I checked and it seems it continues existing in the database. Probably it was moved to a different location, making it not follow the inclusion criteria to Pokémon GO. I can’t check that right now, maybe a folk can check it. If not I will do it myself later.
If it was moved, it looks like it is now off the actual object, but only by a small distance, less than a meter perhaps. But it is in an occupied cell now.
I hope this can be moved back to the correct location since that would have a positive impact on one game and no negative impact on any game.
Also, I see lots of things here that could be submitted.

If this belongs to all the units, not just one, this looks like it is eligible

That was my next task, fix the misplaced one. 
If moved to the correct spot, then there would be 2 wayspot on the same small cell. I still have to read and think about the best way of doing it: I am thinking in updating the picture for that one (and since I love the bird/frog submitting a new waypoint, that would not be used in PoGo but bird/frog would still exist, if ever needed).
And it is indeed in a common area, open to everyone (not only the units). The UFO swing gets a very broad range of visitors, from toddlers to a few brave adults (I am very jealous of them ).
Is there a way for me to make the location edit (around 2m) suggestion?
I am guessing I cannot do it from Pokemon Go since it is not at the moment.
I believe there are currently three ways to make a location correction.
- Use Pokémon Go - this works if you are in range, are a high enough level and it appears in Pokemon Go
- Use Ingress - this works if you are in range, are a high enough level and in Ingress
- Use the Help Chat bible through your Wayfarer page. You’ll need a clear explanation and supporting geotagged photos
