A walking track meets Exercise criteria
Exercise - a place that is great for exercise and that explicitly promotes exercise
Social - a place that is great for being social, for meeting up, and that explicitly is targeted at social/group activity
Explore - a place that is great for exploring, that lots of people would be excited to find, that you would show to others as “hey, look at this!”
Those are stores near a walking path 2600 steps to be exact when completed and the store is across the street Exercise righr / that local store caters to different cultires by bringing in local delicacies from india pakitan and philippines Explore right and socialize too
I cant seem to find the ping button to message you thank you
Ok
First because of the way wayfarer to work it is difficult for someone to be singled out.
This is because reviewers are not aware of who made the submission. The pool of people that review is also random over a wide area.
So although that is what you are feeling it is not likely to be the reality.
The apartment building, while it may be the only one with that name, is at it’s core just an apartment building and those are not eligible.
Shops are often very difficult to get through, as they don’t often meet any of the criteria. As you say these particular stores offer foods not found in the area they are still designed to go in, shop, and get out. Which doesn’t meet any of the criteria.
I see a couple of restaurants in your list, are those places that offer foods not normally found in your area?
It is a known fact in our local community that people out of spite rejects other peoples submission if it is not near their location this is a proven fact if there is an admin here i can message privately i can share location and trainer name details this is known in our local community people have stopped submitting because of these
Yes those resto are selling unique regional foods mostly Yemeni Lebanese and other regional types of food per country
I would focus on that aspect of the restaurants and resubmit them. Include in the supporting information that it’s a great place to get food not normally found in your area, and thus makes it a great place to not only socialize but also explore.
You can use this form to provide details of the behaviour
The take reports seriously so provide as much evidence as possible
It is possible you have a problem with a local reviewer or reviewers, but please be aware that a handful of reviewers cannot reject a submission. Lots of people are asked to review each wayspot and these reviewers are taken from a wide area.
It is likely that people are not able to review submission in their immediate play area in order to prevent what you are describing.
Regarding “Those are stores near a walking path 2600 steps to be exact when completed and the store is across the street Exercise” - a shop does not become eligible because their is something else nearby that is good for exercise.
Being able to walk to a shop does not make it eligible under Exercise criteria, because the shop itself is not something focussing on exercise.
I will try that i have invested heavily in this game and needed to drive 45-1hour everytime i need to play and it is starting to make a dent in gas and time
Thank you but i am just pondering how could i provide evidence of a discussion i was told in our group that rejection is being done out spite by people in our local group i would not want to be charged with a crime for recording this people for sure
A big starting point for many of us on wayfarer was a desire to improve the local play area. So I fully understand that wish.
So the important part then is to focus on what might be eligible as you walk around rather than what you where you want there to be something.
The later is likely to lead to disappointment and frustration. If you work with is potentially acceptable then it’s more likely to succeed.
So the ordinary apartment block as a whole is not eligible. If there is a communal area where you can exercise - a gym for example - exercise
or a social space - an outside shaded seating area - social
These specific areas can be acceptable.
Restaurants can be good as you go there to eat as a social activity.
Is this helping?
Yes it is helping let me show you the below Private property yes but it is a mall to attract the public the name below Ayala Malls is a famous mall developer here but yet still rejected Exercise splash ville water games for children socialize yes
Based on the main photo (the last one above), Spash Ville Evo City is eligible and both rejection narratives are incorrect.
Some reviewers do not understand the Private Property rejection and will reject something that is valid. This location is valid as it is not on single-family private residential property.
This is also distinct, because it is a clear location that is of interest and worth inclusion as a wayspot.
The “Abuse” rejection narrative can be flagged for a nomination for any of the following reasons
- The photo is not yours (e.g., taken from streetview, found on another website)
- The photo is fake
- The waypoint is fake
- The text itself is abusive
- The nomination is controversial and likely to be offensive (e.g., a mural of terrorists)
- Another nomination was abusive and all of yours have been flagged as a consequence
- The wayspot location pin is misplaced
- The wayspot is deliberately misrepresented (e..g., on school property but pretending it isn’t)
- (there may be others)
Here, the location appears to be incorrect, so that is the abuse.
