I nominated a waypoint recently that got rejected by the ‘bot’.
Not my first time, but certainly the first time I was fuming…ready for destruction (or reporting invalid, according to my opinion and also the rules, waypoints or pokestops).
When I got the opportunity to appeal, I either beat the bot with guideline definitions-wording or a human reviewed the appeal.
It can get very frustrating, joining the wayfarer program, getting familiar with the rules, participating in the ‘vetting’, nominating your own ‘points’ and seeing them being rejected without an explanation beyond ‘get familiar with our guidelines’.
I’m not familiar with the case above but from my insignificant personal experience I would reject photo 1->3…photo 4 however, tell me more as I’m hooked.
Does this Doña Ernesta have a website? Perhaps some history online? I’m convinced my appeal worked due to extra online information. My picture of a pile of stones in the countryside turned into a known artwork.
And knowing how harsh the wayfarer-vetting is I selected that ‘said-pile-of-stones’ believing it was a no contest winner…turned out the ‘bot’ disagreed.
You are absolutely right and, no I’m not joking…I feel your passion, I feel your frustration…just feed the ‘bot’ or human reviewer some online information if possible.
Crazy thing is they are making us jump through hoops while they are launching ‘points’ at bus stops, street corners, etc…yet rejecting nominations of local (and historical) businesses…
Having read your posts I have decided it was be better to move these to create a specific topic to discuss your submission which you have problems with. This will allow continued support for the OP of that topic.
This is the link to where this was originally posted.
Can you provide the full submission that was rejected.
