Rejection of a bus stop in the village

Hello,
playing Pokémon GO in villages is generally miserable. I wanted to add PokéStops in one village in the form of two bus stops. There are no other forms of public transport here, only buses.

This stop is located near the health center. But from this stop, you can safely reach interesting places such as a lookout tower or a wine route, where there are old wine houses with interesting paintings such as grapevines, or a statue of Saint Urban (patron of wine), an old bell tower, and you can also walk to the next village.

Second stop: https://maps.app.goo.gl/wM2vKFVjwsBEDddG9
From this stop, you can reach a public beach volleyball, a children’s playground, and an outdoor gym. Everything is in one place: https://maps.app.goo.gl/2Dgeg5UzbCJZo14r6
It’s only 230 meters from the stop and even visitors from other villages or towns can get here by bus.

In my opinion, both stops are meaningful, mainly in terms of tourism and community. From these stops, you could create nice routes for ROUTE. Unfortunately, even the appeals were rejected, so I don’t know if it’s worth trying again.

There are more bus stops, but these seemed acceptable to me.

What would you advise? Thank you for your response.

You are likely to struggle with bus stops as they are usually classed as standard infrastructure.

You seem to have mentioned several other locations that would be better nominations if they are not already wayspots, playground, outdoor gym, lookout toer etc.

I looked at this area on Maps, and most of it seems to be SFPRP (single family private residential property) so there just may not be much eligible. I hope there are some suggestions you can use in this topic: Tips for Rural Nominators

I assume you at looking at the bus stop shelters, which are across the street from the SFPRP in the area, but they are still seen are infrastructure, a place to get out of the weather while waiting for the bus. We have several where I live, and they all look the same and are pretty indistinct.

Like Slim said, you may want to look at some of the other POIs to see if they have Wayspot or not yet, and if not, nominate those. I’d also look at the rural nominations tip link that Cyndie provided, as it can be helpful almost anywhere.

The playground is already there, I’ve already proposed a beach volleyball court and an outdoor gym, but I’m afraid it’s all in one S2 cell, so it probably won’t work :-).

Is there a map where you can see what has already been proposed where? Also PokéStops that have been nominated but are not visible in Pokémon GO because of the cells? I came across some that were not visible in Pokémon GO, but when entering the location it was clear that someone had already proposed them there before.

Keep in mind that unused Wayspots do get used as Power Spots from time to time, and it does appear that they are being used more often than the imports. So, if it is in the same L17 S2 cell as another Wayspot, it may still get used, just as a Power Spot though.

There really isn’t any official map to show all of the Wayspots in PoGo. We used to be able to use the Ingress Intel map with a S2 cell overlay, but since Ingress has stopped syncing new Wayspots, this isn’t going to be accurate all of the time. We have been discussing the importance of having a map, and you can check it out at the following link:

Bus-stops are unlikely to get accepted, but I did have a look around the area and saw some interesting things..

Not entirely sure what this is, but it’s on Google Maps and there are plenty of photos

This entry sign might be eligible, there’s no pavement but there is a verge. I’m guessing that the speed drops to 50km/h at the village border?

To the east of the village I can see Kmeťovo Cyklotrasy which might have some good trail markers - https://kmetovo.oma.sk/cykloatlas

This statue of Saint Urban of Langres is further out still but should be highly eligible - https://maps.app.goo.gl/rSK5QvjfF5xkeuzP9

That statue is on the edge of Horný háj, a protected forest area. That might have a lot of nature signs and other things worth submitting. Horný háj - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

You might not be able to get many in the village itself, but I think there’s scope for creating new wayspots further out.

First link: it’s a lookout tower, now they’ve made a new orange ladder, so it looks like a hut on chicken legs from Baba Yaga :face_with_hand_over_mouth: They added a gazebo next to the lookout tower and then a large public fireplace, probably for some events for the residents.

second link:
there are three of them, signs, since they rejected one of them, I gave up, the one I nominated was right on the cycle path, and in our country cycle paths are also led along roads, where there are also tourist signposts. This one was in a village where the maximum speed is 50 km/h and it is located right behind the bridge next to the only grocery store in the village, where residents still have to cross the road when they go shopping, then you can go to the artesian well or just walk to the dam along the river, people just walk this way https://maps.app.goo.gl/eR9WNtj6r5KTNBbg6

the rest of the links: some are already like pokestops, my idea was that I would create a router from those bus stops and guide the player to interesting places according to the pokestop. One section would be 5 km and the other 2 km, I didn’t manage to do it

But thank you for your help and effort
