    The Wayspot is falling on the railway where no one can access and the shrine in picture cannot be found anywhere nearby the area.

But our community has been trying hard to find the shrine and nothing similar can be found.

Edited to correct first link, I posted the same link twice by accident.
Edited again as I checked to look for the name of the place that owns the shrine.

Thanks for the map view and we know where it is.
No wonder we players hardly find the shrine as the shrine is in the OTL private land and there are weeds and tree surrounded the fence for this few years.

The location was misplaced on the wrong place. (On the railway as shown)

But even if we found the shrine, the shrine is not publicly accessible as it is the private land and the fence and trees stops the players from getting near from outside.
Also the area is full of truck as it’s an industrial site and very dangerous for players at night (very less people with no lampposts nearby)

Is it the Wayspot is still eligible under Wayfarer criteria? :thinking:

Unfortunately just because you specifically cant access a spot doesnt necessarily mean it meets removal criteria. People who do have access to this area can still reach it. This means it is still allowed as a wayspot. Niantic leaves it up to the players to use their best judgement and not trespass or access areas they shouldnt when it comes to reaching wayspots. Very similar to how gated communities are. Not everyone can just walk into the gated community but that doesnt mean that gated community shouldnt be allowed to have their community center/pool as a wayspot. However, in this instance, if the location pin is misplaced and not on the actual location it probably should be corrected. But I wouldnt say this meets removal purly due to access issues.

Thanks for the appeal, @Victor0427 . We took another look at the Wayspot in question and decided that it does not meet our criteria for removal at this time. However, we’ve moved the wayspot to its correct location.

I think it would be better to move the location to prevent confusion.

Niantic did that and I guess it would be the great decision for this wayspot.
