Removal outcome emails are broken

Bug Reports should include the following and any additional information you feel is necessary to aid in the investigation of the bug.

  • Description of the issue: Since ~April 8th, 2024, none of the Ambassadors or anyone they have asked have received an outcome email (Approved or Rejected) to an in-game removal request. This is despite seeing sometimes the Wayspots that we have reported being retired. We think that the email system for removal outcomes is broken.

  • Date first (or most recently) experienced: April 8th, 2024

  • Device type, model, and operating system: N/A

  • Game & Game Version: N/A

I received the result email today, so I think this problem is resolved.

When did you submit this report? I still have not received emails about the outcome of mine submitted on April 9 and 11 of this year.

I don’t really know if you will receive them. I made some reports at the beginning of the month that got a resolution but I’ve never received the emails of the resolution.

I don’t think it is resolved in the sense that there still is a period of time for which outcome emails are missing.
As an example, I got outcomes for Apr 20th but not for Apr 13th despite some of the Apr 13th reports clearly being acted on. The gap spans at least a week after Apr 8th, unsure where exactly the cutoff is.

I submitted Apr 21, 2024 and received Apr 24.
