Not receiving emails from wayfarer

Bug Reports should include the following and any additional information you feel is necessary to aid in the investigation of the bug.

  • Description of the issue
  • Date first (or most recently) experienced
  • Device type, model, and operating system
  • Game & Game Version (if applicable)

My mail account was down for 2 days - after this I do not get mails from wayfarer - at all. I tried submitting a title edit today - and have no confirmation mail.
I login with my google account.
I hope someone can help out with this issue. I don’t want to miss out of the prizes from the latest challenge.

Hello and welcome,

Have you checked your junk mail folder, or any other folders you don’t check as often? It’s possible it could have ended up in there after your email was fixed. If not, please report back.

Also, you’ll want to make sure that you have notices@wayfarer.nianticlabs.com added to your address book and/or safe senders list. Your email provider should then recognize any email from Wayfarer as a safe email, and deliver it to your inbox.

Also, forgot to mention, is your email address linked to the Google account you login with? If you have a different email address with your Google account, the emails will be sent to that one.

I have 2 Google accounts, mainly because I have one for personal use and one more for business use. One does have a GMail account that I don’t use that much, so I make sure to use the account with my other email address attached. I also have my Facebook account linked to my Wayfarer account, so I know from that which of my Google accounts to use to login.

And Thank you for the quick response. I checked everything , but found nothing wrong.
I only have one google account.
I have now changed my e-mail adress on my google account - and I now recieve e-mails. So problem fixed …
I hope reward mail from the edits Challenge have not yet been sent out.
Maybe you can re-send if I missed it…?

Glad to hear you’re getting emails again. As far as I know, reward emails have not yet been sent out. We haven’t even been given the final community numbers, and being there was a good deal of abusive edits submitted that staff had to (and may still be) dealing with, it could take awhile still. They will let us know when they start going out.
