Remove please

When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:

  • Wayspot Title: Kingsgate Private Library
  • Location (lat/lon): 47.730146,-122.182662
  • City: Kirkland WA USA
  • Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information):
  • Additional Information (if any): In addition to being unarguably PRP, it’s no longer there. An appeal should not be necessary for this.

If it’s the small blue mailbox style object that you were referring to on your comment between the top image and bottom image then from my point of view you are correct it’s not there any more and it should be removed.

Secondly I would say you are also correctly about the PRP aspect but as it’s outside there fence line it maybe classed as public pathway…saying that land laws maybe different in the USA and this strip of outside land may still be owned by the PRP homeowner.

Also I would title your post more accordingly to get people attention than just “remove please” as you haven’t included the proper email rejection and only something from NianticOps it may not be acted on,did you report it from the actual location or have a modern day photo from your gallery that it’s not there anymore I’m just curious :thinking:

However @Ambassadors may have other Insight eg… @elijustrying or @cyndiepooh

The rules about US property lines are very different to the U.K. so best not to go there.
There is no specific guidance about titles and I see no need to amend.
And the email extract denying the request seems to fulfill the requirement for a reject.
This is a reasonable appeal request as it stands.
So best just to leave this for the wayfarer team now.

I have quite a bit of experience with these, I think my post is fine considering the context.

As an ex ambo, i think tehstone is very familiar with the process and his claims.

Nothing wrong with the title. Peoples attention doesn’t need to get got, its an appeal and Niantic will process it accordingly regardless of the title.

This is included in the original post.

Why is this relevant, sufficient proof is present and proper procedure has been folllowed.

As a US Wayfarer that has also removed LFLs from PRP, that’s exactly what this looks like to me.

@phantomr1982 There is clarification in regards to property determination, and it notes that even though there are different laws globally, Niantic can’t make any statements on whether or not something is on PRP, just that if it appears on PRP it’s ineligible.

Thanks for the appeal, @tehstone. After reviewing the additional evidence provided, we’ve decided to retire the Wayspot in question.
