Removed pokestops

Hi!
After updating the app, I noticed that two PokéStops near my home have disappeared. They are still visible on the IITC map and have been accepted in Wayfarer.
I was so happy that they were there.
Could you please look into this and consider restoring them?
If you have any questions or need more details, feel free to contact me.

Thank you!

since Ingress is no longer connected to Wayfarer, the deletion of Wayspots does not affect that map anymore.

Are these old clothing racks typical in Eastern Europe? If yes, they do not fulfill any criteria to be accepted. For a good chance of restoration thorugh staff, you should use the “Wayspot Appeals” Category (I have moved your post to that category) and then follow the template where apllicable:

When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:

  • Wayspot Title:
  • Location (lat/lon):
  • City:
  • Country:
  • Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information):
  • Additional Information (if any):

Thank you kawin240 for your message and explanation.

I’m adding to the earlier post.

Wayspot Title: Trzepak
Location (lat/lon):
53.153624/16.758925
and
53.153155/16.758572
City: Pila
Country: Poland
Screenshot of the Rejection Email: I didn’t receive a rejection e-mail — those PokéStops were accepted and active.
Additional Information: These racks are no longer a typical element of the urban landscape. They are being removed and remain in only a few places, but they are still a popular spot for children to play.

It would be great to see these spots come back into use.

Unfortunately, you have to nominate what the actual object is not what it could be re-purposed for.

We often see rope swings tied to trees but they are not childrens play area… :frowning:

With todays criteria I would be surprised if they would be accepted and therefore believe that the removal is justified.

Thanks for the appeal, @Cyklaza. We have taken another look but stand by our decision to retire the Wayspots in question.
