Request for Reinstatement of Removed Wayspots - BLR

Dear Niantic Wayfarer Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing to address the removal of seven Wayspots in my local area, two of which I personally nominated. These Wayspots were valid and fully compliant with Wayfarer criteria, yet they have been removed without apparent justification.

The two Wayspots I nominated are:

Both meet the required criteria for valid nominations: they are publicly accessible, visually unique, culturally significant, and located in safe areas. Their removal undermines the principles of community engagement and enrichment that Niantic encourages through Wayfarer.

As these removals appear unjustified, I kindly ask for an explanation and the reinstatement of these Wayspots. The local community greatly values them, and their absence negatively impacts our shared gameplay experience.

I know this place, we got a huge and active community roaming around
this is a loss for everyone… sad, I hope it’s just a temporary issue

with this message i just opened my game and noticed that FIVE pokestops (on 6 !) on my street were removed in one evening for no reason. Creating them on wayfarer took me a lot of time, I feel it sickening !

Were the other five removed wayspots also graffiti?

Random graffiti is often considered vandalism, and that makes it ineligible, as per this post. Niantic has been removing a lot of graffiti wayspots from the database recently.

Thanks for the appeal, @Unikochi. We have taken another look but stand by our decision to retire these Wayspots.
