I need help correcting the location of the Calder “Pittsburgh” Mobile gym at Pittsburgh International Airport. I originally submitted an edit request through the website support chat, but instead of moving the gym to its new location, it was removed from the game completely.
The artwork was recently relocated as part of the new terminal project. I submitted several photos and also linked to news articles published by the airport showing the installation of the Mobile in its new location. This gym is an important landmark at the airport and should still exist in the game, just updated to the new location of the artwork. The artwork as been with the airport since the 1950s & this is its third terminal with the Pittsburgh Airport. Could you please review the request again, correct the placement, & reinstate the POI as a gym?

Have you checked if the PoI is present at the new location but no longer visible in game? That can happen with moves.
If you are at the location, you can check by opening the submission menu in game and checking the map for a ! symbol with the details matching the old gym.
Ah, interesting. So it wasn’t moved to the new location you’d recommended, and still appears in game but not as a gym.
Did a different stop happen to turn into a gym by any chance?
Generally speaking the wayfarer team dont handle what becomes a stop and what becomes a gym and there’s no way to control that - and location edits can change that. But I’m sure they’d be able to help with the accuracy of the location
I was hoping the Wayfarer team might consider making an exception in this case. The Calder “Pittsburgh” Mobile is not just any point of interest-it is a well-known, iconic artwork that has been part of the airport for decades.
Based on my knowledge of the area the location correction should not have resulted in it disappearing & downgrading. In my opinion, restoring it as a gym would reflect its importance as both a landmark and a gathering point for the community.

You can request a location edit via helpchat (wayfarer menue → help → orange bubble). There you’ve the chance to add more evidence.
But please only real life corrections and not for game purpose
Hi @AliceWonder1511 , I originally used the orange help chat to request the location edit since the move is more than 10m (from the existing airside terminal to the new landside terminal). Do you have any recommendations on what else I should include in the edit request to ensure the POI is moved correctly? In this post I’ve included what I submitted to the help chat the first time, but they only shifted the location by less than 10m, which caused the issue.
my understanding of this one is that the person who responded to the original help chat request made the wrong move, that move caused the demotion. the location was then changed again, still not to the right spot but the POI came back as a Pokestop vs a Gym
the location that was originally requested is correct, and there is ample evidence to show that it is and if it had been moved correctly to begin with it would not have been demoted. there for the POI should be restored to gym status.
