I tried to delete my account within the app but I couldn’t do it. When googled it said that I need to contact wayfarer as they deal with it and there is no method to delete it ourselves. I want to delete it because I am unable to link my pogo account with the gmail I want to because it is associated with ingress. What all do I need to provide to delete it?
Scopely recently bought several of the Niantic games (Pokemon Go, Pikmin Bloom, and Monster Hunter Now). These games still benefit from Wayfarer.
Ingress has stayed on with Niantic Spatial. They are spinning up a new page called Recon. But I don’t believe they have their new version of Wayfarer up and running there yet.
Sorry but this isn’t helping me. I don’t understand what this mean to my question. It’s not a bad way I’m talking in, I literally didn’t understood what that’s supposed to mean. I want to delete my ingress account bcz that gmail I want to link to pogo
We have nothing to do with Ingress anymore. The website I linked above may be able to help you.

I have the same gmail linked to ingress and pogo. You should not have to delete the Ingress account to link it to PoGo.

Another question, that link/website you sent, they are literally doing the same thing like wayfarer do. Whats the difference and why are they different? (Just curiosity to know)
Ingress is no longer part of the same company as Wayfarer and PoGo.

If you want to do anything pertaining to Ingress, the website I linked is where you need to go. It is a separate company from Scopely now. Scopely has Wayfarer and Pokemon Go.
Oh, bit i wrote a gmail to the niantic lab, regarding the account linking as I said. That said I don’t have to have an account on ingress or campfire or soo on to have that gmail link with pogo. I got that gmail thought a user through reddit. He said it’s better to ask there isn’t of that Ingame help

As @cyndiepooh said above you can use the same emaill account for all of these games. I use the same account too.

I did read through the email before removing it (to protect your email address). I’m not sure why they would recommend separate accounts. As said above I play Ingress and Pokemon G (among other games) and use the same email account for all of them.
It does appear that you are trying to restore a Pokemon Go account? You may want to reach out directly to the Pokemon Go team for that.
Nope, I want to link my pokemon go account with my gmail address. Im tired reaching all the places, reddit, Ingame support, gmail and here since yesterday.

Ofc yes however it says that this is already associated with another id tho it’s not. That’s why I’m reaching everything for help
And just making sure you are not multi accounting. That is against Terms of Service (ToS). So if you ever started playing the game years ago and used that email you’ll continue to have problems.
What do you mean by this? I can’t change gmails?
