Really that boring?
No SFPRP, sensitive location, generic business and mismatched location?
It can also be broken up with “3rd party picture” for some of the pretty ones when you finally think something looks good ![]()
Sometimes, when it’s coal, I don’t have the energy to choose which of the many possible rejection reasons is the best one. I used to use “generic business” but this is controversial, since we shouldn’t be teaching people that businesses are default rejections, so I use 'not distinct" instead.
For the not-absolute-coal, I did use some mismatched location ones, because they were. Also an SFPRP.
I’m just finding the absolute coal doesn’t fail on those counts!
Since I got back to “Great” I have…
I do keep an eye on my profile just in case but the Rating is not moving. Would be nice if lower ratings could give a clue such as “Slow Down”, “Too Many Disagreements” etc.
Same here - hasn’t affected my rating despite the long-standing suspicion that you have to review slowly (there is even a plug-in to help with that, but it was boring waiting for the timer to run out so I disabled it.)
Is your backlog that high? I think I only done like 70 reviews perday and I am already run out of stuff to do ![]()
I think there might simply be a lot of things being submitted. I released 22 submissions two or three days ago only a few miles from @SlimboyFat71 and have had results for 16 of them. This area doesn’t have a backlog locally ![]()
I have done all the suggested and listed items. I just review on the phone now going slow even artificially slow as suggested
I think I have had my account locked at poor and they won’t reset stats. So confused as to what to do. I do all that’s advised and there is no progress other than towards upgrades which I rarely use anyway. I had the last 8 or 9 nominations clear in a day or two before I’d even consider using an upgrade.
And no plugins?
There is no such thing. It may take some time for the stats to recover if the agreements to disagreements ratio is too low. This time also depends on the number of reviews.
The only plugins I ever used to begin with were ones to open maps quicker to help me review faster. I never used whatever ‘make decision for me’ tool eluded to. No idea what that even is.
I’m just doing them on my phone in safari and opening google maps from the wayfarer links.
I just did five more. I am not seeing a lot of good ones. It’s still mostly coal.
I have a higher rate of agreements than many people who post stats. Make it make sense.
It is extremely likely that the recent review results (agreement/disagreement) matter more than the older ones. This means the total stats across all time are not really that relevant. However, you can’t see the recent stats separately and Niantic won’t publicise their algorithm.
I’m merely stating what makes sensible system design, without which it would be too hard to recover from previous mistakes.
Yes, it could be that the ML is off. So you can see the unfilterd pool.
Aarons statement gives me some hope that you might be on the right course and need to be a bit more patient.
Maybe make some notes over the next week/10 days and if nothing changes for you (doing less reviews but receiving many agreements) than bump again?
