Review Pokestop at Isolated Location

I am seeking some guidance on how to review a nomination that is located at an isolated location. This nomination is for the recreational area at a mining workforce camp. The submitted photo shows a patch of red dirt and fails to show (in my opinion) a designated recreational area. Normally I would reject the nomination on this basis. Having said that, the workers camp is in the middle of nowhere and is located nearly 80km away from the nearest townsite. Due to the isolated location, workers fly in / fly out and are restricted to the campsite during their two week shift. The approval of a wayspot at this location (where no wayspots currently exist) would at least support gameplay.

A nomination can be made for a park even if a park does not have a physical sign but is clearly a park. If there is an obvious entrance or focal point, that would be a good location to place the pin, but equally the middle of the park may be suitable. The supporting photo and text should provide evidence that the location is intended to be used as a park or recreational area.

Picnic Areas

Picnic areas are great places to be social! Note that a picnic area with a group of tables constitutes one nomination. However, not all picnic areas are eligible across the board. For example, a picnic table on single-family private residential property should not be accepted. [image] Picnic areas and tables that appear to be permanent, even if not bolted to the ground like those above, are great places for socialization.

If you feel that this photo is sufficient as the focal point of recreational area, I’d lean favorably. You seem convinced that this IS a rec area for starters.

Private Residences, Farmland & K-12

I actually remember voting on this one. I think I denied it due to low quality photo since it was difficult to see the rest area in question with out zooming in / squinting.
