Sculpture in local gathering spot is getting rejected

Can anyone help me decipher why this was rejected? I checked the criteria to make sure this was eligible and to my knowledge it is but cannot figure out why it was rejected. This is the 2nd time I tried this spot since the first try was not as descriptive.

Any suggestions would be helpful!

Wayspot Submission for Gnome Home

Description

Oringally an old tree that needed to be cut down when the locals decided to decorate it as a gnome infested house for the local congregation spot.

This local gathering spot can hold around 30 people, with amenities such as grilling, horseshoes, a dog fecal waste bin, bench, trash can, and a game board that explains the rules and a place to keep score. This location has constant interactions since not only is it a recreational space but is placed in the entrance of a public space making it walked by nearly all day.

Hello and welcome @ebsscion

It is frustrating when you get a submission rejected and are left wondering why.
This shows that it was the auto decision programme that rejected - so not a human.
You have 2 options you can appeal once you you have one available ( they refresh every 15 days) or alter and resubmit. It may get rejected by the auto system again or may get through.

If you were to submit again I would make sure that the supplementary information also focusses on the object and not the wider use of the area.
Can it be seen ok on streetview?

Oh I nearly forgot
You mention horseshoe pits.
Those could be eligible in their own right.

Only staff know exactly how AI work and why its rejected. And staff wont diclose how AI mechanism work since it will be abused.

I assume thats not located on someone’s backyard

Your option is to appeal or resubmit

It can be seen by streetview.

I will submit an appeal and hope for the best. If that doesn’t work I will submit the horshoe pits like you suggested. For future submissions I will make sure that the information I supply directly focusses on the object.

Thank you!

You’re correct, it is not in someone’s backyard.

It is the entrance to an RV park but it is public space so I don’t believe that should be the issue. Nor do I see people in the background that would warrant a deny.

Good luck with the appeal. :+1:
Focus on how the gnome home meets exploration criteria in particular.
