When I try and submit a photo via Chrome on my phone, selecting a photo for the main/supporting photo changes the selected location on the map to 0 latitude 0 longitude in the middle of the ocean.
Wayfarer does know my current location originally as seen here.
I can zoom out, relocate back to where I want to submit and then it’s fine, but every time I try and submit for the last few days it has done this which makes it a much longer and less accurate process.
After submitting, the next submission will do the exact same thing after choosing the photo.
(I couldn’t tell if this is related to the map issues in PoGo so wanted to submit in case it’s not)
I don’t know why today it was also saying unable to find location for a couple of seconds. It wasn’t doing that yesterday so it’s not a major issue.
The bug of the map itself of resetting to 0:0 is the exact same despite this, it has been going on for at least a week.
This is on a Oneplus 12, most updated Chrome, no add-ons to wayfarer.
As in title but with a bit more, when I start submitting something, it lines up with where I am, but then when I upload a photo, it shoots me to 0, 0 coordinates and I have to manually go back to my location. I wouldnt mind so much if it wasnt so far away but it also brings up “you are out of range of submission, go back or save as draft” prompt which i regularly press back as its where i would be pressing for the next part of the submission. It’s happening on the mobile website, dunno if its happening on pc (the promot is annoying BTW, its unnecessary when you arent allowed to submit anyway)
Okay, taking baby steps. I got Firefox installed on my phone somehow, and was able to use the same photos to successfully create a draft (no third party tools involved) using the same photos I had previously taken. I did not get the location error photo this time, and the new draft looks like this on my computer - which does have third party tools installed.
