My Wayspots application was rejected. After that, my account was suspended for 30 days, but I didn’t receive an email with details, so I was at a loss as to what to do. Then, I found a user who had reported my application on social media and was enjoying posting it on social media.It seems the location was off, but I thought I had placed the address correctly in the center of the building. I acknowledge that I made a mistake and regret it, but is it inevitable that it will be exposed on social media? I’m worried about the future and will hesitate to apply

Unfortunately, there isn’t anything that staff can do to stop someone from posting the screenshots from your nomination on social media, as they have no control over the posts. I would encourage you to report them to the social media and explain the issue and see if they are able to remove them.

I do see that staff did ask if you wanted more details, and it’s possible that they may send you a DM with more info.
Also, I wouldn’t say that reviewers enjoy rejecting or even reporting abuse. I certainly don’t enjoy having to report abuse, if I believe it’s the case. And as for the location, it can be moved by reviewers, so if I had gotten this, I would have tried first to move this closer to the front entrance of the store, which is where it appears to be, and the move would be under 20m for this, which can easily be done by a reviewer.

The pin is off by about 15-22 meters. However, crucially, this offset provides no strategic in-game advantage (it doesn’t move the POI closer to a private residence).
This lack of advantage proves there was no malicious intent.
For a 75-year-old player (born in 1950), this is clearly a physical limitation—shaky hands or poor eyesight struggling with a tiny touchscreen map. (This is just my personal opinion.)
And I recommend submitting a different nomination, because this yellow board is full of discounts, gift cards, and app download ads.

The pinned position would make this eligible to be a pokestop or gym, whereas the actual position would not be.

Wayspots are not just used for stops/gyms in PoGo; if this was placed at the correct location, it could become a Power Spot for Max battles. While there is a Wayspot already being used in PoGo as a stop in this L17 S2 cell, that doesn’t mean others in the cell could be used as Power Spots, as long as they aren’t within 22m of a stop/gym, which this doesn’t appear to be.
Let’s wait to see if staff sends a DM to the OP, and if they do appeal the ban.

No, that incorrect location has an advantage. Both the aforementioned Wayspot and the store entrance where its bulletin board is located fall within the same zone governed by the inclusive rule controlling PokéStop density. However, there are no Wayspots in the incorrectly submitted zone. This is the advantage gained by specifying that location in the game. While OP cite other reasons why cargo is placed in front of the bulletin board, the fact remains that you intentionally specified an incorrect location.
The information posted on that bulletin board is primarily intended to inform customers about the store’s commercial activities, such as promoting products, the store’s LINE account, and the store’s coupon app. Since it does not aim to encourage participation in local community activities, it does not appear to meet the Wayfarer eligibility criteria.
There are several Wayspots in the vicinity that do not meet the eligibility criteria, such as the aforementioned disaster prevention warehouse (which could obstruct emergency response), bulletin boards for apartment facility management, bulletin boards for financial institution advertising posters, and bulletin boards announcing municipalities procurement bids and public auctions, ordinary road bridges. Therefore, you may have misunderstood the eligibility criteria, but I recommend reviewing the criterias again before submitting future submissions. These do not meet the eligibility criteria, but they will remain as they do not violate the removal criteria. Rather than simply referencing what is displayed on the map, consider why the location was established and what purpose people are currently using it for. Please select and submit only those that can be deemed to meet the eligibility criteria.

Thank you for your advice. It’s very easy to understand. The reason I thought they were “having fun” is because the person who posted my application on social media regularly posts other users’ applications without permission and includes provocative comments. This area is called “Kani” (crab), and they were making fun of it by playing on the word “crab.”
The reason this person chose to report me instead of correcting my location is because they kept threatening to “suspend me for 30 days.” Thank you for your response.
