Sospensione 30 giorni per errato posizionamento – aiuto e consigli

Ciao a tutti,

ho ricevuto una sospensione temporanea di 30 giorni sul mio account Niantic a seguito di una proposta Wayfarer relativa all’“Università della Terza Età”.

Ho capito che il motivo della sospensione è un errato posizionamento del Wayspot. Voglio sottolineare che la proposta è stata fatta in buona fede: non c’era alcuna intenzione di ingannare il sistema o di creare un POI non valido.

Ero molto vicino al livello 80 e questa sospensione mi ha colto davvero impreparato, perché stavo investendo tempo e impegno nel gioco.

Scrivo qui per capire meglio:

  • se qualcuno ha avuto esperienze simili e come ha gestito la situazione;
  • se secondo voi è possibile far capire a Niantic che si è trattato di un errore innocente, sperando in una revisione favorevole.

Apprezzo qualsiasi consiglio o esperienza che possiate condividere, e prometto di fare più attenzione alle linee guida in futuro.

With incorrect locations, it depends a lot on whether it was accidental or intentional. It is impossible for Niantic to know for certain which of these it is, so the facts matter.

  1. What was the location you submitted the POI at. This needs to be provided as the screenshot of the location in the submission receipt email, which is below the images.

  2. What is the correct location of the POI.

From this, it will be possible for fellow wayfarers to provide advice. Without it, it’s very hard to provide advice. Please note that the advice might be to appeal the suspension or to accept the suspension.

To add to @salixsorbus post IMO most people look at whether your stated location would place it in to an empty cell where as the accurate location would be in a occupied cell.

I don’t believe that your current level will (or should) be considered.

The only way that I could see is if you can describe why the error was made such as “I placed it at the end of the 2nd car park where it’s actually at the end of the 3rd” or “I placed it on a different statue in the same town square due to poor mapping”.

Although the above reasons should not be needed as you do get at least 2 chances to confirm accuracy (nomination screen and checking in contribution screen before it goes to voting) then this and any previous good behaviour might get you some leniency.
