I created a PokéStop a week ago. I can spin it normally, but no Pokémon appear on it. What to do?
I’m pretty sure Pokémon spawn right in the middle of level 20 s2 cells. However, this isn’t a Wayfarer question, as it is more of a Pokémon GO question than a Wayfarer question. Edit: They might actually spawn in the level 20 s2 cell that the PokéStop is in
Okay, so Pokémon will never appear at this PokéStop? There is no PokéStop or gym near or in the same cell as this one.
Level 20 s2 cells are different than level 17 s2 cells. In pogo, they use level 20 s2 cells to determine where Pokémon spawn. According to Pokémon GO hub, they spawn in the center of level 20 s2 cells. I honestly don’t really know how s2 cells work when it comes to Pokémon spawns, but Pokémon GO hub says they spawn in the center of level 20 s2 cells, so this could mean it spawns in the center of the level 20 s2 cell that the PokéStop is in, idk

Where Pokémon spawn is totallly in the hands of Pokémon Go and is not related to wayfarer.
Every now and then the game developers amend the spawn map so you will have to wait for that to happen. But it’s not something this forum can influence.
If I remember correctly, the Pokemon spawn rate is relate to the number of players within the vicinity. The more players are present, the more spawning of Pokemon.
Could anyone verify this? As I’m not too sure.
