Split from unfairness

Might be.

I suggested 20 spots last month. 17 approved, 3 denied. I appealed 2, as it it max appeals… both appeals ended in … what to say… my favour.

So I end up 19 approval, 1 rejection…

Works for me  send me your pogo code and who knows… we might trade a lucky pokemon some day

In discourse you need to select to ignore this topic

Click this button near bottom of topic and set it to mute. You should then not receive notification

This discussion was split from your original post. As I noted there, you can turn notifications off in Preferences. Click on your letter bubble in the upper right hand corner, then Profile.

On the next page, you will see your Preferences. These are the 3 that you will want to focus on:

Email allows you to set what you get emailed about. Notifications allows you to set what you get notified about via your web browser. Tracking allows you to set how you want to track different threads that you have posted in.

There is also an individual tracking option at the bottom of every thread that allows you to set how you want to track it. You can choose to mute any thread.

I also do not have mod access, just a regular poster, a regular user here. Mods, ambos, and staff have more mod options, but I’m unsure if they can change how an individual user is notified.

Go into preferences and turn off notifications. I never ever get a single notification.

Thats the issue, isnt it ? A sign saying «this is the way» is POI, but the destination is not  its all about S2 cells…

Sorry, I don’t understand.

I don’t even know how to get to that part you showing me, I haven’t even seen a black background on a Niantic wayfarer

It’s dark mode, and may be a default on the device the user is using currently. I have my devices defaulted to dark mode, so pages have black backgrounds.

I did break down the steps in my last reply, so I would look at that. If you still are having issues, you may want to see if someone is able to assist you outside the forums.

I could have written this exact comment, because this is EXACTLY what I experience too. Lots of Pokéstops similar to the ones I suggest, but mine are NOT approved! This is annoying and not fair!

So … what can we do??? :-/

I give the same recommendation as above to consider making another thread for discussing your nominations. Without seeing those, we cannot assess the specific merits and pitfalls of your points of interest.

because it’s uneven, unfair, or both?

because there is rng involved, and there appears to be a distance component based on observations i have seen
