well I just went out look around in the back where the ā€œS2 Cellā€ show, and I took 2 more spots I hope.
one is the small kid playground, I walk around and took better pictures, the other is an simple wooden sit, close to the kits playground, you think one of them be more ideal?

their names I set up is " small kids playground" and " wooden sit under some trees"
they are shown in my ā€œcontributionsā€ page right now, thought I know it take 24 hours or more until they can be check out right?

without seeing them, i have no idea which would be better. are we talking about very portable play equipment a homeowner set out for their child to use, or a dedicated area with permanent equipment installed, even if small?

yes, the ML model seems to check them at about 24 hours after submission and can reject. if it isn’t rejected, it can remain in your queue or go to in house review. there isn’t a set time that it will go into voting after that ML check if left in your queue.

since you have already submitted them, there is no need to show us screenshots. i only wanted to see the one that had been rejected already to be able to give advice on that. let us know how these go!

Hi can you share screenshots from the contributions page?

A simple bench on its own is highly unlikely
Is one of those estate with small play areas scattered around ?

I save the snapshots from the page, and uploaded them here, I hope this is alright, I’ll remove them after you all seen them.
both images are on this one page.

Can you share screenshots like the ones I did above of the trails I’d submitted? It helps us see how you presented the submission - and it is best if you can share the supporting photo and statement which I did not

is this better?

Has Fort Luton been subbed yet?

There’s a few places here that could be Wayspots, if not already subbed.

I appreciate these are further down from where you shared the location, but I am just checking. I haven’t checked the Intel maps to see if these already exist.

Thanks and yes that is better.
I can’t see the flooring. It might sound silly but it makes quite a difference when you can see if it’s the safety ground covering.
So the council created this little play area about a year ago? But they are not maintaining it well?

You aren’t really selling these 2 nominations with your descriptions are you!! You are basically talking about how run down they are and how the area is overgrown.

I think focus on the positives!

For the play area, I would name it as Road Name Play Area and then description of ā€œA small play area for children surrounded by trees, with a bench nearby for adults to sit and chatā€. Check your spelling and grammar before submitting as well as often reviewers can be very fussy about that kind of stuff even when its perfectly readable

I recently nominated a bench, and this is how I wrote it. Typically standard benches aren’t accepted, so I dont know if mine is different enough, but I hope so :crossed_fingers:

I am not good at descriptions, and I raver not lie about them… sorry.

no one is suggesting you lie. but you don’t need to be derogatory in the description.

You don’t need to lie, in fact you shouldn’t!! But you also dont need much detail especially if the only things you can think of to say is that its overgrown and untidy. You could instead simply say what the play equipment is, or what road its on, something simple, and leave it at that.

if you honestly feel like it is disingenous not to mention the state of repair, you can do so in the supporting section. but that should not go into the description, since that can be a temporary state.

well it all shown there, and as I said I am not good at descriptions, I can’t even come up with the words to express clothes or an person mind or how an person look, when ask, I am more of drawing pictures on paper or making 3D sonic type models.

the guidelines say that a description is not required, although you have to enter one. just say something very simple as @frealafgb suggested. This is my basic description for apartment play areas:

Play area for the [name of apartments] community

it does not have to be anything fancy.

I figured that much about not being fancy, as when I walk into town there so MANY pokestops and gyms, I guess all I can do now is hope one of them 2 will be pick.

Not to be unkind, but the bench is a very weak nomination to begin with, as benches are typcially only eligible as a viewpoint or if they are particularly artistic. You also have some spelling errors, plus you also talk about the area being neglected, so I don’t think you gave even the most generous reviewer any reason to accept it.

The play area, it’s hard to say, but I would also expect it to be rejected for potentially not being shown to be permanent, or for ā€œprivate propertyā€ which would be an incorrect rejection at a block of flats, but not an uncommon one

so you saying I should lighten the descriptions up…

Yes! Definitely. If you dont know what to say in a description, write 1 basic sentence about the item itself and stop.
