I am a big fan of Pokemon go game as it connects us with community and to our childhood.
However, it’s hard to get accepted nominations to be turned into the pokestop. I don’t know but my wayfarer account got suspended just for nominating my local area and someone reported it as abusing. It is disheartening for us as game lovers who try to contribute for the game and grind hard and gets suspended. It’s been more than 50 days my Pokemon go I’d is active now but Niantic wayfarer account is still suspended coz I appealed for this ban.
Secondly it’s not easy to pick the place for nomination and that gets accepted and then even show up in the game. I got one nomination accepted but I don’t know whether it’s going to be fruitful or not.
If you willing to share the suspension email and nomination that trigger the suspension, we can try to look into it. You should appeal it when you got suspension in 1st day. Suspension email will look like this and show which nonination trigger the suspension. You have 1 year redemption period that if you play safe for 1 year, all previous strike will be gone.
Regarding your nominations, it is more fruitful to find interesting things that meet eligibility (safe etc) and criteria (Social, Exercise, Exploration) and submit them at their actual locations, than to try and fill empty cells within things that might not be anything special but you just want the cells filled.
With the former, some wayspots become pokestops, some become gyms, some become powerspots. That can be rewarding in itself.

The community here will be happy to assist in this.
Common reasons that people get sanctions are for using 3rd party photos or mis pinning the location of an object so it will appear as a stop when the correct location would mean it wouldn’t.
You need to stay within the rules.
As a start can you share one or two of the nominations that you made that were not accepted.
It also helps to know the area where you are trying to improve things.
