I am currently working on trying to swap out old removed wayspots in my area for things that do still exist in the current wayspot’s cell. I was wondering if anyone has experience or knows how quickly they switch over or how this impacts for example gyms in pogo. If I get a new wayspot accepted(or if one already exists) in an occupied cell, and then I get the removed item’s wayspot removed is it a 1 to 1 trade or is there still risk of it rebalancing gyms? Regardless of the answer Im still planning on swapping out the old removed ones for new ones just curious of how this process works if anyone knows. Thanks!
The changes should happen at the normal sync time.
If a gym is removed the level 14 will recalculate. If there are enough pokestops in the cell to trigger a gym one will be selected as per normal. This could be any of the pokestops.
There is no preference given to the cell where a stop was removed if a new stop appears there.

Ok so it will still potentially jumble them if the # drops below the threshold. Thank you for answering!
