Systems adds hyphens into wayspot

Few days ago this wayspot was accepted and when it came to Pokemon Go & Ingress (maybe other games too) system added hyphens into the title and the description itself.
Finnish word “rautatieasema” (eng. railway station) has been changed to use hyphens for unknown reason.

Location: ingress link
Name: Turengin rautatieaseman infotaulu
Timeline: Accepted July 12, bug last seen July 15.

Device: Samsung Galaxy S24+ using Androind 14.
Bug seen in Pokemon Go and Ingress. Browser based Ingress Intel Map shows correct title.

Lightship has it without the hyphens:

It’s possible that this may be an issue with the games display and not Niantic. It could also be a sync issue with the games as well.

Also want to add this could be a translation error with the games, depending on the language selected. Again, like with the sync, this is an issue with the games, not with the Wayspot itself.

Check that title, it contains soft hyphens (c2 ad), which are probably added by the phone autocomplete or something like that.

Normally soft hyphens should be displayed on line breaks - they are word break placeholders. Looks like a game client bug.

Intel + IITC also contains soft hypens in that title; so it’s working correctly.

Yes, appears to be an Ingress / PGO bug with soft hyphens displaying even when the word does not split onto multiple lines. Great detective work.

Resizing the window shows the soft hyphens working correctly when the window is not wide enough to fit the whole word.

I think Lightship is working correctly with that soft hyphen, but for PoGo, there seems to be too many for the 2nd word. So, it does appear to be an issue with the display in-game and not a Wayfarer issue.
