Re-run the event, there is plenty of other submissions sitting there waiting.

Backlog is gone.and wayfarer have no knowing when the target will be fulfilled. I understand that wayfarer have no other way but to end the challenge early. But maybe they can reduce the tier target more so there will be less angry.
I agree to a point. Not sure how practical it was in this scenario.
We could change our location, why wouldnât you let it run its course?
Because there is not sufficient backlog to support the numbers we see during challenges.

Why are you gaslighting and teasing people here? Is reaching your goals and kicking down on those that didnât your understanding of good, civil, discussion? No one was denying massive issues with the event in this thread. Because how can you? There were massive issues and contributors were wronged because of them. Pretending to not understand the anger people have because of this is bad faith acting.

I disagree, as soon as you posted itâs done there has been ample submissions coming through.
This could have stayed itâs original timeline and removed all of this.
I am not gaslighting. I am demonstrating a point that being active on here helped achieve the goals⌠but you knoe what⌠carry on with your attacks.
For a challenge you do not need ample submissions you need a serious amount. There were 230.000 decisions (and some change) in 6 days, and the majority of that was actually in the first 4 days, because finding nominations and getting the system to load was getting harder and harder.

Still no satisfied with the outcome or decisions made.
Never has an event been shut early and then evidence while gameplay still existed.
I was active here, you can literally see my posts from the early days on. I was contributing every day and got increasingly bogged down by lag and cut down by the early event termination. So what is your response to that? That i still didnât do enough because i didnât reach the arbitrary number of 500 despite sinking probably 10+ hours into wrestling with the failing system?

You could definitely feel how slow it got towards the end. Those last 3,000 reviews seemed to take ages!!
I dont think it was much fun later into the challenge and was pleased to find it complete this morning.
Personally, I dont believe many of the people angry over it ending early would have managed to complete their goals by the end regardless if the challenge had continued or not. There was simply nothing left by then.

I agree and that is a though pill to swallow. Even if the challenge was extended there would be similar number of people complaining because they could not get sufficient reviews in.

Another general warning
As part of being respectful please avoid playing ping pong back and forth.
It does not relieve the situation, so can people involved consider taking some time away from the discussion as I think it is going round in circles.
