To what part? There is the announcement that the challenge is closing shortly. I didn’t know if that is also changing the clock on resetting location etc.

Crazy seeing multiple people well over 1,000 while I’m struggling just to hit 40 to get SOMEthing.
Those of you who already maxed out rewards, please stop reviewing so those of us that are short have a chance of maybe getting some rewards.

Hi there, thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately increasing the number of nominations has never been part of a challenge and not something we discussed with the game teams going into the challenge for consideration. While the number of nominations may change in the future, it’s not something we could have done in less than a weeks time specifically for this challenge.

This really was not handled well at all, regardless of the underlying issues on your end. Now my home location is locked to Canada and I do not live in Canada or ever plan to. And you ruined any chance I had to achieve OPR goal due to a poorly planned and executed challenge. Not good for the community or engagement going forward.

In hindsight, maybe this could have worked but the country method for challenges was something I inherited and just continued to do especially given the continued success from each one. You should have popped in here with your suggestion 2.5 years ago haha jk

I really was in the mood for reviews, weather was crappy so what else do I do but the constant slow down was very demotivating. I even managed to get locked out twice for going too fast because at those points the only difference was a period at the end of the title/description with everything else identical for a bunch of wayspots in a row. Yea I could’ve gone hard the previous events but well, wasn’t in the mood for it. It was also mentioned earlier that me doing that many is hoarding. No it’s not. It’s open for all and imagine a lock out after you reach max? So you’re just sitting there unable to review for the duration of the event? No that’s just wrong. I do it for the overall badge in ingress plus to get new portals in the game. Locking you out after the max required for the event would be silly. But either way, thank you all for your hard work!

I’m embarrassed for you that you have to make a positive post for a recap for the worst event in the history of Wayfarer.
I busted my ass spending days trying to review and only got to 341 Reviews. One day I spent 10 hours on screen for 26 reviews in total.
I have 100+ screenshots of error messages across the whole event time frame, and changed location to major cities all around the world more than 50 times.
After 10k reviews on wayfarer and actively trying to make Niantic’s games better, I’m calling it done.

Trust me… I’m considering it lol some people love reviewing though so in all fairness it was open range and people who started early definitely had an advantage.

Do keep in mind that it can take up to 24 hours for ML to send new submissions into the community review queue, so not all of the newer submissions would have gotten reviewed.
As for the 40 nomination limit, that’s how it’s been for quite some time, and hasn’t changed, but others have asked for it. Doesn’t really pertain to this challenge, but more of a general request.

I was aiming at the OPR Live Badge tick, and after hours changing locations only managed to get 350, that’s a bummer, specially seeing there was people that achieved doing 1000 reviews.
Everytime I changed location, I only got reviews in my country, a minimal amount of the picked location.

Do you believe that the data shows that the newly established 75/200/400 threshold is fair?
Would it be possible to request a “wrap-up” post talking specifically about some of the areas where backlogs were most-diminished by this effort, and places where it was least-diminished?
