That's a Wrap! - The Global Wayfarer Review Challenge is ending ahead of schedule

As it stands, no.

I do feel for genuine cases like this, unfortunately I see no way to fix. Niantic drop Level 3 to 340 someone states ā€œbut I got 330ā€ and so on.

The only hope is that Niantic take notes and make sure the next challenge runs smoother.

If Niantic were to drop the Tier 3 from 400 to 300, I think it’s only fair they give us a Tier 4 with 400+ and give us Pogo players a Lucky Orb… :grimacing:

I thought it was a Trinket? I can’t keep track of all these fancy PokĆ©mon GO items. Just hand over some Frackers.

Trinket…orb… it’s all the same to me… I’m still in withdrawl from reviewing!

The OPR Tick was a side hustle for me…

Ill take a 2nd radar for hitting over 500.

(I would love to save one, but I like to get one of each shadow legendary so I use them all)

At one point, I had 4 super Rocket Raiders. I wasted them all on Shadow Mewtwo… I’m still bitter from doing that.

Happy to take it from you

The right way to do this would be to get everyone up a tier as was suggested in this thread. If you fell 2 tiers below your target… Now that’s the time when we can all call it a tough break. You were off the mark. You don’t get the reward.

As for the first tier, in my opinion everyone that did 20 reviews in the condition the Wayfarer portal was in during those days deserves the global reward. If you didn’t have access to areas that were massively spitting out simple edits, even getting through 20 could have been grueling work.

I don’t think this is naively generous either, this could have been easily achievable for people if the portal had been working as intended and the event wasn’t cut short. For example someone that did 200+ reviews under these conditions was already putting in major work. Possibly way more than someone that did 400-500 A or B edits in a massively backlogged area at the right time.

If you have a word with Niantic to get us a Lucky Trinket / Orb as a reward, it’s yours.

Oh dear. Dont blame you. You weren’t to know you’d end up with 20 more from a raid day

A word is something I can do, that likely does not result in a different outcome :stuck_out_tongue:

Well… I expect positive outcomes… otherwise… I’ll polish that OPR Tick every time I log into Ingress.

I would unironically love it if we could polish badges in Ingress like in PokƩmon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum

Well we can make them fly

Be aware to not wear the screen in one place

Polish them until they shine and then tap the ones with wings so they flap a bit? Sounds like a critical feature to add.

I blame the challenge. Why is this even a thing?

Crappy event. I couldn’t get pages to load reliably. Now that the event is over, it works great. As usual, yet another Niantic event fails to impress. I didn’t get enough reviews, I basically gave up, because who has time to sit around and watch pages fail to load over and over and over again.
