Crappy event. I couldn’t get pages to load reliably. Now that the event is over, it works great. As usual, yet another Niantic event fails to impress. I didn’t get enough reviews, I basically gave up, because who has time to sit around and watch pages fail to load over and over and over again.

Wait you also changed the rewards? I know I didn’t make it due to the challenge ending, but the last reward for individual was a lucky trinket for Pokémon go, now it’s gone. Why the change of rewards for the people that DID make the goals?

The rewards changed at the start I believe. The changes during were to make the tiers easier to achieve

There were some technical issues with it.
Maybe thats a stupid question, but i did >100 reviews, if the servers would have been working correctly, it could have been way more, but when will we get rewarded for that?

I started doing these two days ago and wasn’t even able to hit 40. I would have done them tonight. So I get nothing? 
I think the reward threshold should be lowered to anyone who tried to contribute seeing as how awful the experience was. After all, how much does it cost Niantic to give away digital items?

Are you serious? I had only done 27 because I thought I had more time. I come back to find out the event has ended early???
I only saw the announcement now that the Wayfarer Challenge was wrapped up earlier. I was still trying to catch up on the reviews last night since I was at 300+ something. It was a pity that I might have missed the Tier 3 individual award just because they ended the challenge early. Is it fair to do all of these adjustments without proper communication? The early ending completely messed up my plan.

Welcome to the community. I understand your frustration. The early end of the challenge caught a lot of us by surprise. I took a few hours break yesterday to go and submit a few nominations in hope it would catch the voting queue today. If I had known it was going to end yesterday, I wouldn’t have submitted anything yesterday and focused on reviewing. So I completely get the frustration, and hopefully there will be another event in the future where there will be enough to review so people can get the respective targets.
Thanks for the welcome and for sharing your experience. It helped me to know I’m not alone in feeling this way. I also thought we had more time, so it was disappointing to miss out, especially after putting in the effort. However, I think it is important to express our frustrations within the community and let our voices be heard.
