Sometimes the reviews were pretty slow load for me but I was still able to do the initial 500 reviews

When do we get the rewards? Still haven’t had mine? Also, it’s crappy to change the end time without warning, and people should be compensated when rewards come out. I was going to finish and get the top rank and now i didn’t hit it because the date was changed. Billion dollar company

I just want to share my experience with this challenge. While I fully understand the problems lots of people had with it and that I could’ve been one of them, I got lucky and it was a fully success for me. May sound like boasting maybe it is a bit, but just wanted to add something positive to counter the negativity.
My free time started at the second day of the challenge so I decided to get it over with before weekend arrived and spent some hours for reviewing. I managed to do 501 reviews. I had no waiting time or slowed down loading (as far as I understand… I mean it’s a bit slow-ish in general anyways, but it wasn’t worse for me during the challenge). Sure, half a dozen times I had to reload because of some weird error message or a freeze, but that’s normal anyways.
Luckily I even didn’t get a soft ban, only some captchas now and then. And that even tho at one point I decided to ignore the hidden waiting time and just do it at my speed with like 1-3 seconds for most reviews (edits). Because, well, if you have some hundred still to do and only have to decide between no description and seemingly good description (I don’t need to check facts like names and dates) or between the same texts but with or without hyphen or whatever, or a missing letter is added, etc. etc. - you don’t need more time to do it correctly. That hidden waiting time is just stupid anyways, Niantic, pls consider removing it, it’s mostly useless and frustrating.
Anyways, it seems I completed the challenge early enough when there were still enough reviews left to do. The idea of not enough reviews for everyone who wants to partake didn’t even cross my mind, when I saw the numbers of completed reviews going up I thought Niantic had calculated a number more or less easily obtainable by us and would have never thought there aren’t enough reviews to do for everyone to begin with.
So I fully was okay with the requirements for the bonus tiers going down, even tho I already had put in more work than now necessary. I feel bad for everyone who didn’t stand a chance because of not enough reviews to do or shortened challenge time (especially regarding the ingress rewards, sounds like it had a very rare something). I got lucky, this time. For me it was successful. Waiting for the rewards now.
For everyone else I just hope Niantic will calculate the tiers and overall to dos better next time.
But well, you can’t satisfy everyone and sometimes you need a bit luck as well, or need to invest sooner. I know it’s not helping, especially if you have only some clear rules to follow to partake and something goes wrong. I just hope next one will work out better for everyone.

EDIT: Love being proven wrong with a new topic that doesn’t change anything except Scopely will probably not tolerate this.
Thibs’ last post was 5 days ago and they visited the forums 3hrs ago. How are they long gone?

I completed the minimum 50 reviews and they havent sent a code for doing so. Its disappointing and they say they have sent out all the codes because I completed the 50 reviews and nothing in my email box 
If you have, for example, Apple / Facebook and Google (or combinations thereof), check all the email addresses that are linked to the sign in type just to make sure. The email may also be in your junk / spam folder.
You have done the correct thing by posting on the other topic. The wayfarer team are checking posts there to try and look into issues and resolve.
I’m absolutely furious to find out this is why i never received rewards. I spent 3 hours on April 22nd, from 3:30-6:30 PDT to get to 50 reviews just to get the global rewards. I had assumed the challenge was on the original schedule, so I get screwed over and wasted my time for absolutely nothing.
If you have multiple sign in methods, you may want to check every email address that is linked to the account. Also, check the spam / junk folder.
I only use google to sign in. there’s nothing in my junk folders. I’m fairly certain I was too late to be eligible for rewards because I didn’t know the challenge ended early
