That’s a fantastic picture. Reminds me of the famous Sharbat Gula image.

The Innocence image not the Crazy Banana although that’s pretty cool too :cat:

Here is one of my favorite photos that I’ve uploaded to a wayspot. It might be a bit dark and little to strained but it has that something I that I can’t really put my finger on that makes me like it.

I took this one a few days after they finished painting it.

Found a mural that’s been around for four years with nobody bothering to add it :person_shrugging:t2:

I like this photo of mine. Not because the photo quality is particularly good or anything, but because I find it really amusing that I got a photo of the map’s digital screen when it was borked and upside-down. Too bad the reviewers didn’t agree.

Hike today, the snow from last week already melted. Barely any snow at 1km elevation

and a photo from the hike:

One of my recent edits I did for this fountain. Kind of unfortunate you cant see the entire plaque BUT that currently isnt even featured in any of the existing photos.

Baby’s Cabin from the movie Dirty Dancing. It’s in Virginia.

I really like this one, you can see the path (old main road) that the cycle trail is on in the background

Best photo of a flexible vinyl adhesive trail marker ever? Because 1) it was accepted first time with no appeal or resubmission required and 2) it’s pretty much centred and I like the colours

Huh. I thought that was filmed at Lake Lure in North Carolina.

@seaprincesshnb @ChicagoRay312 You are both correct. It was filmed in both places. But most people know it for Lake Lure, NC.

A supporting photo I took sometime ago for a sign on the bench. One of my favourites.

Absolutely stunning! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Can’t decide between these two of Burford Bridge, both taken on 26th October 2024, coincidentally the last time the sun bothered to grace us with its presence. Of course, the one time I get a decent photo for an accepted wayspot it doesn’t appear in POGO, because the pokestop at the Nags Head is fractionally in the same cell, rather in the cell to the north as I had plotted it.

Lovely bridge.
Personally prefer the top one as it gives a better sense of the shapes.

And looking forward to the sun peeping through.

I feel like my best photo job for a wayspot so far is a nomination I made for the Apple Barn’s huge Christmas shop in Pigeon Forge when I was briefly in the area. Part of it may be the pride of knowing that I got a 2nd gym created on the Apple Barn premises with this nom for PoGo and it’s my first accepted nom in Tennessee, but especially considering the fact that I was rushing this because my phone was almost dead, both photos turned out gorgeous.

Edit: I also just thought of what my absolute favorite disc photo is, which is part of my favorite submission generally. I just love how the disc has Hank Aaron’s retired number squarely in the center of the frame, as it should be:
