I’ve always been intrigued by the Photography of the Photos that I see on Niantic titles.
It could be old, mis-aligned photos, or a photo that I seen of an Ingress Second Sunday at London. (I think.)

These are photos that I took, and I like!

Mod. Edit: merged and minor adjustments to fit into this thread

LEMBUR KATUMBIRI

Lembur Katumbiri, formerly known as Kampung Pelangi 200, is a densely populated village on the slopes of the Cikapundung River in D4go, Coblong, Bandung City. It went viral for its colorfully painted roofs and houses. Occupancy began in the late 1990s, and over time, the number of houses increased, becoming known as “rumah tumbuh” (growing houses). The houses’ multi-story architecture continues to grow, keeping pace with the number of people relocating and raising families. Many residents were relocated from around Tamansari, and some came from outside the Bandung area. Unfortunately, since its inauguration in 2018, its exotic colors have slowly faded, resulting in a decline in tourist arrivals. The name “Lembur Katumbiri” itself comes from Sundanese, meaning “Rainbow Village.”

In April 2025, the Bandung City Government collaborated with renowned artist John Martono to reactivate the area by painting and reorganizing it. The painting is different from the previous one, with artistic touches by John Martono adding to the beauty of Lembur Katumbiri. This reactivation is expected to attract tourists again and help boost the local economy.

The house is located on the slopes of the Sangui Cikapundung River, where the Cikapundung River serves as drainage, tourism, and raw water in the upstream area, making it crucial to maintain its sustainability.
