My nominations are on both sides of I-95. I’m not noticing any difference in how my queue is processed. My nominations in Wellfleet do seem to go faster, I have nothing pending there currently.
Ive done a few hundred since changing my location. Prob 70% are not from my immediate area. Ive seens some really solid submissions but also a lot of ones that done meet criteria or are really low quality so wondering if the queue is just backed up with a lot of garbage & the ML is just passing it off to reviewers thats then slowing down good submissions from moving forward. Glad it seems at least some of the things stuck in the queue are working their way into voting! ![]()
We have had an issue with extraordinarily low-quality Wayspots being submitted in the suburb city of Quincy. Maybe 1-in-10 submissions qualify. We worked with some of them to try and improve their nomination quality, but not everyone is active in these communities.
This was down in Rhode Island though, which is another beast in itself. Last year a majority of “Boston” reviews took place there.
hey @NianticAaron, can you reset mine please. I’ll gladly help
Hello Aaron, I would also like for my bonus location to be reset so I can help the community. Reviewing in Australia is getting boring
Thanks for willing to help. Unfortunately, we have frozen the Hometown/Bonus Location resets due to the Wayfarer Challenge in Brazil. Please let us know if you wish to reset it to Boston after the event and I’ll be glad to help. ,
I don’t think things will get better in Boston. (unless you like the “report” button)
There is something to report every day. Either there is something wrong with submissions or existing wayspots are in the wrong place, for example.
If you have examples I’m happy to try and fix. The location edits I’ve submitted on the map either get rejected by Niantic or are already corrected by others. I don’t think many people in our PoGO community are submitting anymore but it’s worth addressing.
This week’s update:
- Wk 1: 28 pending (10 voting, 18 queue). Longest voting: 7+ weeks
- Wk 2: 28 pending, 0 resolved (12 voting, 16 queue). Longest voting: 8+ weeks
- Wk 3: 33 pending, 0 resolved (14 voting, 19 queue, 5 new). Longest voting: 9+ weeks
I have a bunch of upgrades. I’m deliberately not using them so that I can provide this data about the Boston queue. I’ve also excluded anything resolved by eMiLy so that it’s just community data.
Oh sorry! No new upgrades.
None, I stopped reviewing on 11/5. I didn’t want to be measuring the data and affecting it at the same time.
I was on the fence about this myself. I’m not sure there is a correct answer, but I’ll un-pause reviewing since you raised the concern. FYI, I do have a “great” rating as a reviewer and upgrades in the bank. In our last community challenge in Boston, I’m told I was one of the top reviewers.
how old are your oldest ones then?
Also, for full transparency, I’ll include my own review and agreement counts in my weekly updates.
Late Aug or early Sep. 2024.
Wow. And I consider six months is a reasonable time frame. I would not call this an issue.
So sweating, breathing heavily and pacing up and down for anything not approved after 5 minutes of being in a queue is completely unreasonable? Makes notes
