The biggest speedway (race track) in my province was not approved. It’s literally the biggest social gathering in my area every week lol I provided great pictures to the entrance and the track itself even drone shots from above lol I though this was system would for sure approve it. That being said i won’t be submitting anymore stops at this point. This was my first and last for the fact that it’s probably the best spot around for miles. Get it together over there guys come on

I’m sorry to hear about your disappointing experience. It does sound like it could be a fun spot and worthy of a wayspot! Maybe you could share your nomination with the folks here? There are a lot of experienced people that love to share tips and tricks on how to improve a nomination. Additionally we may be able to figure out why it wasn’t approved and/or included on the game board.

I would also love to see screenshots from your contributions page so we could see why it may have been rejected. It helps if you provide these:
- A screenshot of your nomination, including rejection reasons if it has already been rejected
- Include the title, description, both photos, and supplemental information
- Copy and paste the title, description and supplemental so others can translate them
- If you feel comfortable please share the location, as it is helpful (i.e. hidden duplicates), but you can mask it if you wish.
Sometimes it is something as simple as taking a new photo or removing references to Pokemon Go from the description, for example.

I’m another person who would love to see screenshots of your nomination. Motorsport venues should typically meet the criteria, so it might be that you did something wrong without realising it and that we can offer you some assistance to help fix it. Also worth checking - have you attempted to appeal the nomination yet?

Did the rejection email say our team or the community?
Have you tried to appeal the rejection?
If it says our team then it was an auto system rejection. The programming ( nicknamed Emily) can get things wrong and reject good nominations. You can then appeal so that a human will review it.

Please share so we can help improve it. What you mention sounds eligible but there are some ways that even eligible nomination can be rejected. Some of the way include but not limited to AI rejection, bad photo, missplaced location, etc)

The reason will be at wayfarer contribution page not email.
While the event itself sound eligible, people might question this particular signage. Does it have street view? Is it correctly placed? What is it made of? Is it permanent? Do you have other sign for the track? You can have people in supporting photo but not in main photo
Hm did you use foto from google street view?? Thats not allowed and subject to abuse ladder system. If you kept doing this, you might got warning and /or suspension

Taking photo from google street view is not great. While the event itself sounds great, this rejection is correct if you took photo from 3rd party (even if you took that google picture yourself)

Do not appeal this rejection. It looks like you used photos from Google Street View instead of taking your own. That is abuse.
I cannot see safe pedestrian access at this sign. Is there a different sign at a safer place to stand that you could use as your focal point?

I submitted 5 photos in total, 2 were from Google Maps and the other 3 were with my Sony a6500 with my sigma 16mm (I’m a photographer / videographer) for some reason I don’t see the other 3 photos I uploaded / submitted in their email to me. But yes this is the tracks only signage it’s been there for over a decade maybe 2? You can’t see the track from the road it’s deep in the bush (on a reservation) it’s a well known track people come from all over to race, they just had the famous Russian / Canada pro racer crazy leo visit the track. It’s a dirt track, very popular spot for the native and French youth and races are weekly, the entire Rez and town neighbouring the Rez attends every week

This will be what you submitted as the main photo from the position in the email. I don’t see any need to ever add a photo from Google Maps because reviewers can see Street View in the review.
The contributions page will also show which was submitted as the main photo. The rejection reason will be there. Check https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/nominations as was suggested.

Does it say it was rejected “by the automated process”? The badly focused stolen photo is probably what caused the rejection.

I can see the track from satelite view. The only concern is safe pedestrian access for this signage and 3rd party foto. If you can take the track photo yourself without people, i think that would be great (people in main photo is another reason for rejection)

I believe foto of the track will be easier to get approved, its just where do you want to place it

I believe aerial photo will be great , but make sure to avoid people as much as possible. Recognizeable people is instant rejection.
I submitted 3 other pics that are not shown as I stated a few times previous, you’re saying don’t appeal it.. well should I resubmit something with some drone shots?
