Some of the 7-Eleven (convenience store) sponsored gyms were downgraded to Pokestop, and if there were two 7-Eleven (convenience store) within 14 cells, the convenience store that was Pokestop became a gym, and if there was one 7-Eleven (convenience store), the Pokestop in 14 cells became a random gym or the Pokestop with many pre-worked dabongs was promoted to the gym.

There’s a lot of talk about this, but there’s a lot of speculation and there’s no official guidance anywhere.

I wonder if Niantic is aware of this issue.

Have similar things happened to other countries?

Sponsored PokéStops aren’t within Wayfarer’s control, that’s down to the Pokémon GO team, so you’re best raising any issues with it through the app support.

Oh… I see… There is no way to contact the Pokemon Go team, so I just asked. It’s related to wayspot, so of course I thought you’d know if I asked here. Thank you for your answer!
