Thoughts on info point placed outside of a public toilets

Hey! I’ve recently posted this and was unaware that such things do not fit into the wayfarer. There are no rules against. The toilets are public and it’s not indoors..
I understand that it might be uncomfortable if a group of people deciding to visit the location digitally would be there, but the place is still public.
I partially agree about the comfort, but could we at least include that in the wayfarer official rules for rejection criteria? There is none telling me not to post near the public toilets.
Again. This is outside area. The info point is also a place where you could find some cool events.. I don’t see why such a placement would be a bold move..
What are your opinions  ?

A public toilet is what I’d decline in a review as a sensitive location.

Do we really need them to specifically note that a public toilet is a sensitive location?

As each case needs to be looked at individually, coukd you please provide the whole nomination.
All the text , both photos and location information.

We have discussed Toilets before

There is nothing on that photo that is worth reading. I would reject based on that alone.
We have stuff here locally close to public toilets. I could not bother yet to try to justify the interesting parts of those spots outvaluing the closeness to the toilets.

I’ve saw that one post and I understand why murals on the outside would be declined, but I don’t know why people would deny the information point as it encourages socialising and displays local events
I just want to know soo I can be careful for further posts

Public toilets aside. That’s soo wrong…
The information boards are culturally important and getting a picture without any poster on is great for a game. I’d rather have a blank info board than outdated circus events or anything that hapened in the past

As I said, I see nothing interesting. Just info point. Info about what? The next time the loo gets cleant?

An object or a place can be “culturally important”, and at the same time not a great place to explore, be social, or exercise. Even the public toilets without a notice board attached, can be called “culturally important”. But it’s not enough for meeting the wayspot criteria.

I dont see any issue with something on the side of a toilet, ive submitted a map that was on the side a toilet. Id maybe not want the front where the doors are, but side snd back, dont see too much of an issue with it

I don’t have an issue with art on the outside of the facility. We have a situation where we have one waypoint is the artwork outside and another waypoint is the restrooms itself. Should the restrooms be reported as sensitive? In the description it tries to pair it with “fitness equipment”, but that equipment is also a nominated waypoint. I believe the restrooms back in the day it used to have a “park sign” so I think that’s how it might have passed? I dunno I thought I’d share this combination in this thread here.

This looks like some repurposing or misrepresentation going on. I see in ingress the cover photo is the sign and the photos attached to the washroom are very varied:thinking:
