Hey, just a little confused as to what counts as a trail marker. I’ve seen some as simple as just a sticker-type arrow on a lamp pole. Please can someone explain to me how this is deemed permanent and show me some examples of city trail markers? (Ideally on lamp posts / telephone poles) Thank you

This is the criteria clarification about trail markers
The critical part about a trail marker is not what it is made of but what is its function.
The self adhesive vinyl markers are generally very robust and fade resistant.
The route/trail is what is is being submitted and each marker acts as an anchor point mapping out that trail.
So the marker submission should have evidence of the route so it can be shown to be part of that route.

Different topic but I just want to confirm, mosaic tile art will not be accepted if its on a residents outer walls? Even if its far from the entrance to the house (like on the side wall). The rule is that you cannot upload anything on the outside of private property? I’m asking because there’s a lot of tile art on the side of houses from a few years ago.
If it is single-family, it is not allowed. But on multi-family, e.g., apartments, it is OK.
Being accepted and being ineligible are not always the same thing, sadly. You are correct that even on the boundary of SFPFP is ineligible:

Are you reviewing or nominating? Anyway, when nominating I find the sticker type get rejected so I have to appeal them. Then of course they get through.
