Seems niantic deleted most trail markers of cycling. Are al trail markers going to be retired? Or are walking trails still good?
I can’t speak to the part about cycling markers, but here is a clarification on trail markers which may be helpful:
Here you can see it good route sign whit number offical trail.
The signs above are offical traffic signs for bicycle, or people walking.
Or are al cycling trails here also going to be retired ? @elijustrying

Because in my Area, all oft those are still intact (and i hope they stay).
Anyways, looks like you’re in the Netherlands, and as somebody there overdid it with placing fake wayspots, Niantic is deleting stuff left and right if it doesnt look 100% legit. So it might not be a general thing that Niantic is deleting Bike related wayspots, just a regional thing where Niantic double-checks if suspicious wayspots are emerging. Maybe someone submitted like 40 of those in a small Area? That would be something that draws niantics attention, I think.
Seems route markers whit a number is part of the cycling infrastructuur and not a real trail.
So on this picture the number route marker is not good

The route sign whit name like : waal en devel route is ok

Thats seems to be the case, correct me if i am wrong or mistaken.
