Hi all, Personally I think the good old British mailbox is almost as unequal as the Red Phone Boxes of age, which all seem to be book swaps now, but still find themselves approved. I think most are identifiable, in spaced out locations and more importantly walkable for most players.
As someone who does still use the good old Red Royal Mail postbox and not having many options for Waypoints in my area these are the most suitable candidate for those large residential areas which often have no local stop within walking distance.

Whilst it shouldnât be flagged as abuse, the majority of UK reviewers agree that E II R postboxes donât meet criteria so the rejection is correct in that instance.

Someone wrongly clicked abuse during review, it almost. Certainly did not create any abuse record on your account - I have had someone do the same to me.
It was correctly rejected as not meeting the criteria by other reviewers.
Is it possible that you have tried this several times so reviewers have seen it come through again and again even though they have already rejected it?
This could be seen as spamming the same illegible submission in an attempt to force it through?
Hi, no was only the once it was tried, I did appeal it as where I used to live postboxes were a regular sight as points in ingress and Pokemon go so assumed they were acceptable.
It was only when I looked deeper in to the community that I really discovered there was such a divide on opinion relating to them.
Donât get me wrong I am more than happy to follow and abide by rules, I agree not everything should be a stop, but in this case i do believe they should be allowed. I can really see why there is debate on this tho, with there being some and not others, to some its as identifiable and confusingly the option for âmailboxesâ is even in the options for selected appropriate categories.
Just my opinion and thanks for the replyâs. It is helpful to engage with
pothers on topics like this as it helps greatly when submitting new criteria.
Unfortunately (as it confuses many) the categories you select in Wayfarer and PokĂ©mon GO doesnât mean those items are necessarily eligible.
Yea, fast learned that I believe benches and memorial benches are a debatable topic too lol
