Hello,
I am writing because my nomination titled “Le Wagon Fleuri” was recently rejected without any visible rejection reason, even though I carefully followed all of Niantic’s guidelines.
The nomination is a decorative flower-filled mining wagon that has been in place for several years in a public and accessible area. It is clearly not on private residential property and is not near a school. I submitted two photos:
Here are some additional details: Location : Grande Rue Category selected: Artwork – Art Installation Proposed Description:
This repurposed mining wagon has been transformed into a decorative flower bed and is located in a public space. Installed several years ago, it brightens the area and reflects the local heritage and community spirit. There are no other Wayspots within 300 meters, and the object is clearly unique, permanent, and accessible. I’m genuinely confused about this rejection and would appreciate a second review or explanation to understand what went wrong.
Thank you in advance for your help and fairness. I’m open to suggestions for improvements if needed. 2Moussa1230
Hello and welcome,
First question, did this get rejected approx hours after submitting? Did the rejection Email state “Our Team”? This would indicate it was an auto Rejection from ML (Machine Learning, sometimes known as eMiLy).
If possible, could you upload the full nomination including the Description & Supplemental. Are the 2 images attached above those you used in the nomination?
Please include the Co-ordinates (shown on the email you received as soon as you uploaded).
Please show any reason stated on the Rejected email.
Good luck.

Hello and welcome,
To me, I would focus less on the decorative cart and more on this being a pocket park. Most likely that cart is mass produced and can be purchased at a store or even online. Being I see benches here, this fits better as a small park where people could gather for some socializing.
Try focusing on making this a park instead of the decorative planter, as the park may be easier to get approved than the planter. You can certainly use the benches and planter in your main photo to place mark the area. If this park doesn’t have an official name, you could name it after the street that it’s on or the neighborhood.
