I’m experiencing an issue where my Upgraded nomination has not moved out of the Queue status for over 24 hours.

Submitted on: July 3, 2025
Upgrade applied: July 3, 2025
Current status (as of July 4, 2025): “IN QUEUE”
Location: Dhubri, Assam, India
Wayfarer Username: Sarahlinton
A screenshot is attached below showing the nomination still in Queue with the Upgrade tag clearly applied.
I’ve waited over a day, and it hasn’t moved to Voting, which normally happens within hours. Could you please look into this and push the nomination forward?

Upgrades allow you to fast-track Wayspots you’ve nominated by having them reviewed by a larger number of reviewers meaning the nomination will reach a decision faster than it would if not Upgraded. Please be patient and you will soon receive a decision on your nomination.

Fyi, I never upgrade a nomination until it is at least 24 hours old. If the ML (machine learning ai) model’s “automated process” is going to reject something, it usually does it around that time. Some high volume submitters also think that upgrading too early can actually delay the nomination going into voting. I have not observed that to be the case with my submissions, but I am not a high volume submitter.

Not true in my experience. My submissions have always promptly gone into voting despite early upgrades everytime.
