I’ve submitted a bunch of nominations from Budapest Zoo and planned to provide them proper descriptions later. But one of my nominations was instantly rejected due to photo quality
@a1mirr
It may well be that the reason that the system here hide your post is the same one that meant there was an instant rejection.
If this is the case then it is a clear false positive, as it is a good object.
As you were obviously going to edit the text are you close enough that you could do a fresh submission?
If you do it might be worth doing a tight crop on the lions as I have done here
If this gets rejected here we will see if this helps with the issue.
You can the resubmit making sure you have put the text in from the start.
Yep, happened to me in the past as well, also with a sculpture. I then successfully appealed but the problem is that as you say for an appeal or for a question to staff on here placeholder text would not work.
I agree with @elijustrying that resubmission with a cropped photo and correct text from the start looks to be the way to go. I know it’s not ideal not to have the opportunity to edit your text afterwards.
Perhaps the family-friendly filter was confused by the lions’ poses and skin tone, flagging the photo as NSFW. If the close-up doesn’t work, maybe try covering the lions’ private parts.
