Very few pokestops

In my village there are barely any pokestops at all and we’ve been complaining for many years now. What are the odds that my nomination is accepted?

If you submitted a great place to explore, exercise, or socialize, with your own main and supporting photos and an accurate description, the odds are close to 100%. If you nominated a random object and the description is just “we need more pokestops,” then the odds are much lower.

If you’d like better feedback, you can share your nomination screenshots and ask for advice.

Not having many Pokestops does not make something meet criteria. You can read up on criteria here: Wayspot Criteria — Wayfarer Help Center

My best guess, regardless if your nomination does qualify under one of the three criterias, judges will decline the nomination because of vague or generic description. There is a subjective appeal underlying Wayfarer criteria.

Complaining does nothing.

Share your nominations here and we can give advice and suggest how they might get accepted.

It can feel a very frustrating situation when you want to play but you find that there is not much there.

I’m going to move this to nomination support.

You are doing the right thing by trying to submit nominations. Most wayfinders here started because they wanted to submit objects and improve their area.

You can get the impression that it’s simple and you are also correct to wonder what the chances are.
First if in the contributions page Niantic Wayfarer
Check your nomination and if it is at “ in queue” status you can put it on hold. This will allow to get advice here about the text of your nomination as you can edit that. A good description and supplementary text helps demonstrate if your nomination is good.
If you are happy to share your nomination we can advise if it is eligible and it’s likelihood of being accepted.
We can also help check if it is likely to be selected by Pokémon Go to go into the game.
That is a lot to take on board - sorry about that. But we can take it step by step.

What is unsubstantiated or negative about that post? You can absolutely reject something based on the description, it’s under the accuracy section.
