Voting Criteria

You do get 2 appeals every 20 days, so you’d have to wait until you regain one to appeal again.

Staff has never disclosed how many votes are needed to make a decision on a nomination or edit. They do have this stated in the Wayfarer FAQ in regards to this:

How many reviews does it take to make a final decision on a Wayspot’s eligibility?

This exact number cannot be disclosed at this time, however, we can say that this depends on the performance of each individual Wayfinder.

I’d have to ask, in regards to the rectory, what historical value does it have? Just being a former rectory in the 1960s isn’t enough to get it approved, even if it’s now a business park. There are many old buildings out there that have been converted into something else, but just because it was something in the past doesn’t prove that it’s worth exploring on historical grounds. I think this is why you werer encouraged to post about your nomination in Nomination Support, as there could be improvements made.

As for the UK post boxes, all I can say is that we have a very long thread here about them, and some get approved, some don’t. However, if you do have a nomination rejected by the appeals team and you feel it’s incorrect, staff has asked that we post about it so they can take another look. The appeals team doesn’t always get it right, so if there is a bad appeals rejection, do post about it here so staff can take another look.
