Warning received by trying to edit pokestop?

Hi!

I got this warning today, and it came by surprise. I can see 4 different contributions in my contributions manager, for photo, for title twice, and for description for this pokestop. This is to give some background in case this is considered spam, but I don’t remember there being option to edit them all at once. I did click appeal after first round of rejection, but will that be considered spamming if I appeal?

About false information, there was a daycare built 2025 on top of the mentioned sport field (hiekkakenttä=sand field). I was just trying to fix the outdated (last edited 2022) pokestop, and now I am punished for it. Even Google maps doesn’t yet show the real building of the daycare, but the old school that is now partially demolished. I live next to it and walk my dog on the Sammalpolku daily, so the daycare building and playground is there, not a sport field.

Am I just taking this too seriously, but a warning feels extreme for trying to make things accurate?

I think the warning might have been for trying to turn a sports field into a daycare - especially because a daycare is ineligible and needs removing.

Edits are for adding more detail, adding a prettier picture, or correcting a title maybe by making it more specific. They are not for turning one thing into another.

Does that make sense?

That makes a lot of sense, and as the DM stated, it’s “repurposing” an existing stop. But my logic was to edit so at the same time we get rid of outdated stop, as the location is the same. Alas, my logic is wrong :smiley: Lesson learned.
