idk if you’re on iOS or Android but on Android you can just go to the iitc-ce website, download the latest version and install it manually if it doesn’t auto update
I am on Android but I remember installing it in the first place was insanely complicated with a lot of scary warnings about the software not being safe, about the ToS etc, so honestly I am not sure I want to mess around again. I tried going back to the app store I had to download to get hold of the app and it says its not able to be updated via there so I have no idea. Feels like its all going to fall apart soon anyway so maybe I need to jsut embrace not knowing cells again
The one from Play Store will indeed not work as it has stopped working a long time ago, but I strongly doubt there is anything in there that is against Wayfarer/Niantic ToS. Let me know if you need support with installing.
I didnt get it from play store, I had to download a different app store to get it, hence some of the warnings because my phone is only supposed to use play store. And there is indeed a ToS warning to go along with all of it. I cant remember at what stage. Its quite scary.
I fully understand and agree that this is stressful, I just wanted to reassure you are not breaking any Niantic-related ToS by doing it.

When will new maps related to pokemon go?
I really think it is, but it should be a new Seer badge and shouldn’t impact on the original IMO. Anyone who has been playing long enough to have the original badge should be able to keep it as an almost-unique mark of being a pioneer.

One time Ingress Seer badge update based on agent’s “Portals Discovered” points when this Wayfarer News was published (April 3 2025) would be great!
Maybe the better cut-off date for “Portals Discovered” and Seer points is
the date when the Wayfarer and Niantic Spatial Databases are separated (instead of April 3 2025).
So all points from the latest Wayfarer challenge and also latest Appeals are included.
Not sure if this is the correct place to propose this or if Niantic Spatial staff is even reading this.

So i am like 20 portals short to get to 1000 approved in ingress. I never bothered with pogo submissions since the 40 were enough. And pogo profile is crap and things like that dont event show.
So now that ingress submissions are stopped, i guess I have to wait till thr separation completes? I mena if I submit now in pogo it will not count in ingress anyway. And if the maps are still syncing, then whatever I get approved in pogo will be seen in ingress si I will not be able to resubmit once it is available again.
When will the pogo and ingress map.separate so I can plan mt next submissions?
No date for this separation has been communicated currently sorry. But even so you still need to wait for Ingress to re-enable submissions, which we also don’t know if that would happen when the separation is done.
I didn’t think anything changed for pogo, but I am seeing that I am currently not able to upgrade submissions or do the upgrade next. Is this due to the ingress split or is there currently a bug?
I come back to check a few minutes later and upgrade is working now.
Hi, the reason you can’t use Upgrade Next is that it has been deprecated a few months ago. Please see here:
