Completed tutorial and not able to begin contributing on Pokémon go. Still stuck on complete tutorial. Please assist.
Known bug. Restart pokemon app, should work after that.
Not a bug. They just have to restart their game.
I think I have figured out that the confusion is that a lot of people think they have to nominate from the Wayfarer site since they were directed there. But am not sure.

Yep, not a bug. It’s similar to being in-game at 1:59pm waiting for Community Day to start, and when 2pm comes around, you don’t see any Community Day Mon spawning. If you close the app and restart it, then you’ll start to see the Community Day Mon.

As the saying goes, “If it looks like a bug, behaves like a bug, and feels like a bug, it’s probably a bug” - where “probably” means until it’s either officially accepted as a bug or deemed “correct behavior”.
If many trainers encounter the same issue - completing the tutorial without being prompted to restart the app, and then needing to search the internet for a solution - that’s a problem.

Maybe, but at the same time, how long has it been known that tech support question number 1 is always “have you tried turning it off and on again?”.
