Exploration Enabled by You: Discover how many visits and unique players have engaged with your Wayspots! See the impact of your approved Wayspots as players spin PokéStops, raid, etc.

Wayspots You Helped Bring To Life: See how many new Wayspots you submitted have been approved and added to the Wayfarer map, and even better, how many have made it into Pokémon GO!

Expanding the Map’s Frontier: This is one of our favorites! Celebrate when your Wayspot is approved in a brand-new area of the Wayfarer Map, where no other Wayspots have ever existed before!

Which game are these stats pulled from?
- For now, these are only from Pokémon GO, but stay tuned for the activity from Monster Hunter Now and Pikmin Bloom in the future.

What is captured in the number of Visits to your Wayspots section?
- Raids, Gym Battles, Feeding a Pokémon in the gym, Spinning a PokéStop, Adding a lure, Scanning a PokéStop, Adding a Pokémon to a showcase at a PokéStop, Starting a route that’s tied to the PokéStop, and Max Battles for PowerSpots originating from user nominations.

What timeframe is captured in these emails?
- Each email will show your stats for the entire calendar month. These stats are for the contributions you made that reached a decision within that month.

Will my older accepted nominations count?
- So, older accepted Wayspots will not be counted in the newly accepted nominations section of the email for that month. However, any player interaction with those older approved nominations in the previous month will still be counted and that will show in the email under the Exploration Enabled by You section.

How often can we expect these emails?
- For now you will receive these emails monthly! However, this is a pilot program so the cadence is subject to change.

When should we expect to receive each email?
- To ensure all data is captured and synced with our mailing system, emails will be sent out within the first few days to a week.

How can I ensure I receive this email?

To receive these emails, you will need to turn on the “Email me events, offers, and updates” setting in the Account section of your Pokémon GO account if you don’t have it turned on already.

Follow these steps to ensure you have it turned on or need to turn it on:

Open the Pokémon GO app.

Select the PokéBall at the bottom middle of the screen.

Select “Settings” on the top right.

Scroll about a third of the way down and select “Account.”

Scroll all the way down to the “Other” section.

Toggle on the “Email me events, offers, and updates” setting.

You must have this setting turned on at least 48 hours before the email is scheduled to be distributed.

Note: To manage your settings, ensure you navigate to the Account section in your in-game settings. There are two similarly labeled settings, the other under Notification settings. Please ensure you activate the appropriate setting.

I am not receiving the email.
- If you’re not receiving the email, please make sure your in-game email settings are toggled on. If you continue to have issues, please reach out to us on the forum or submit a support ticket.

When can I expect the first email?
- Look forward to your first email within the first week of October!
